• What is SFComet? 彗星科幻是什么？

    SFComet is an monthly short story competition, held by Chinese SF fans, including writers,editors,translators,reviewers.
    彗星科幻是一个月度短篇系列赛事，由几个中国科幻爱好者（包括作者、编辑、翻译者、评论者）主办。

• How does SFComet work? Does it pay? Does it have awards? 彗星科幻怎么运作？有稿酬么？有奖金么？

    There are 5 authors per month includes 2-3 foreign authors(maybe less or more in some cases).
    Each author will write a 2500-5000 words SF story under given theme in 10 days.
    The stories will be anonymous in voting period.
    The winner is selected by vote (through WeChat and Facebook). 
    If the result reaches a draw, the authors will split the award equally.
    SFComet Winner Award: 500 US dollars (for non-Chinese author).
    The authors who not win will be paid 200 US dollars(for non-Chinese author).
    每月5个作者（特殊情况可增减）。
    每个作者要在10天内依据指定主题完成一篇字数5000-10000的科幻小说。
    小说在投票期间匿名展示。
    票选胜者（包括微信和Facebook投票）。
    如果平局，获胜者评分奖金。
    彗星科幻胜者奖：3000人民币（对于中文作者）。
    非获胜者将得到1000人民币稿酬（对于中文作者）。

• Why are the stories in competition only available in Chinese? 为什么参赛作品只有中文？

    SFComet can only provide stories in Chinese and English for readers to vote.
    In coming months SFComet will accept stories in more languages, and will definitely translate stories into those languages.
    目前彗星科幻只有中文版本供读者投票，但我们接受英文投稿并将负责翻译。
    未来几个月彗星科幻将会接受更多的语种，请期待！

• Can I join? 我能参加么？

    Just mail your sample story (no more than 5000 words)or link to SFComet. I will reply you as much and as fast as I can.
